Taj Tandoor Indian Restaurant.

is one of South Australia's most elegant Indian restaurants. Located in the very heart of the city at Rundle Street, this multi-award winning restaurant is renowned for serving only the best quality of Indian food..

The interior is warm and elegant. All the staff are friendly, helpful and delightful. The hostess - Anne Sandhu has a habit of paying particular attention to the details and needs of the customers.

Taj Tandoor has been proudly serving satisfied customers for the last 30 years with the owner & head chef - Pammi Sandhu. With the qualifications of a chef for five-star hotels and having been recognised into the top ten chefs in Australia across all cuisines, Pammi adds his own personal touch to each and every dish.

The attractive and atmospheric private function room, Taj Tandoor offers customers the ultimate in comfort, enjoyment and entertainment. The function room can cater up to 60 people, providing a choice of either the many attractive banquets or the a-la-carte menu. It is ideal for cocktail parties, wedding receptions, birthdays, conferences or any other gatherings.

Anne Sandhu is the Owner/ Director of Taj Tandoor Restaurant. Anne has started this wonderful dream of her as Taj Tandoor in December 1986.

Anne was born in Delhi, India, and has living in Australia for 30 years.

She is a very successful entrepreneur, and holds a Hotel Management Degree.

In 1988 she was nominated and voted "Business Woman of the Year". .
